4:12 Youth Ministry

412The youth ministry at Fort Osage Church of the Nazarene strives to be a place where teens feel welcomed and loved while growing in their relationship with God.   To accomplish these goals, the youth ministry offers a number of weekly opportunities along with other events and activities throughout the year that all teens (7th—12th grade) are welcome to!

Mid-week Youth Service.  Our mid-week youth service meets every Wednesday from 645pm to 815pm in our downstairs fellowship hall.  During this time teens come together to have some fun, worship God, and engage the Word of God through practical and interactive messages.

Small Groups. On Sunday evenings our guys and girls meet in  small groups from 6pm to 8pm.  These groups are for students who are interested in ‘going deeper’ in their faith.  During group time, students will take a look at God’s Word and how it forms and shapes us into believers for today’s world.  Along with small groups on Sunday evenings, we also have weekly Sunday morning small groups prior to the morning service that begins at 9am.  These classes seek to help educate students in the  Christian faith.

Other activities throughout the year include:
retreats, summer camps, mission trips, lock-ins, superbowl parties, guy’s nights, girl’s nights, service projects, scavenger hunts, fundraisers, and more.  The best way to find out what is going in in the youth ministry is to get connected!  Announcements and calendar items can always be found in the bulletin as well as on Wednesday evenings at the youth service.

Participation is encouraged for all teens coming to Youth Group, but for those special occasions when the youth group does have activities, we want to encourage safety.  For medical release information only, please download the form attached below that we will keep on file with the church office covering all activities in the church fiscal year.
